Writing Your Donor Family
Writing your family can make the difference in how they feel about their decision to donate and can offer some closure to their tragic situation. The correspondence can take the form of a letter, note or card. in writing, we ask that you not sign your name so that the letter remains anonymous, at least at first. you may never hear from your donor family, but others correspond occasionally and some families have even met each other. It is a simple yet sometimes emotional form of communication for both families.
