This position will be based in Little Rock. Qualified applicants should be well-organized self-starters with the ability to work independently. Preferred qualifications: LPN, RN, CTBS, EMT, RN, BS, Medical terminology, typing skills, and customer service experience. Required qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multitask. The primary function of this position will be to provide information about tissue donation to potential donor families. This position includes 12 hour shifts on Friday and Saturday evenings, with possible additional hours if desired. Organ Procurement Coordinator
Hot Springs/Little Rock
ARORA is currently searching for an Organ Procurement Coordinator in the Hot Springs/Little Rock area. This position requires leadership, independent decision-making, organizational skills, computer skills, flexible hours, and the willingness to travel by charter air services as needed. This position will be based in Hot Springs and/or Little Rock. Primary duties include complex donor management, assessment skills, and coordinating organ recovery services with ICU/OR staff, physicians, and transplant hospitals. Other duties may include education of hospital staff and/or general public about Organ/Tissue donation, obtaining consent from donor families and various data entry/clerical responsibilities. Training will be provided. Qualifications: R.N. with ICU or ER experience necessary, will also consider CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist with critical care experience). Sharp clinical skills and the ability to relate well to grieving families are a must. Excellent salary and benefits.
