It’s easy to take for granted that life-saving donated organs and tissues will be there when you need them, but without registered donors it is not possible. 64% of eligible Arkansas residents have made the decision to register to become organ, tissue and eye donors. ARORA, an organ recovery agency here in Arkansas, is trying to flip the script by increasing that number to 70%.
Help them by participating in the ARORA Flip It for Life challenge
Here’s how:
- Post a video of your best flip on social media.
- All flips are valid, whether it’s a backflip off the diving board, a pancake flip, a burger flip, hair flip, or coin flip. Creativity is encouraged. Anyone can Flip It. Just like anyone can register to become an organ and tissue donor.
- Your post should include #FlipItforLife and your video should include a reminder for individuals to register to become organ and tissue donors at arora.org/donatelife.
- Tag ARORA/Donate Life Arkansas and encourage others to participate by challenging your friends and family.
A few minutes of your time can make a tremendous impact on restoring lives.
